An incredibly wise therapist once told me the real “f-word” is “fixed.”
When people reach out for support, they or their loved ones often ask for help “fixing” something—as if they’re broken or need to be patched up. But I don’t believe you’re broken. The work we’ll do together isn’t about fixing what’s wrong with you—it’s about making sense of where you’ve been, tending to old hurts, building self-trust, and finding ways to move through life’s twists and turns with more clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, questioning who you are, navigating relationships, or trying to show up more fully as yourself—I want our work to feel grounding, empowering, and deeply real.
I’m not a “blank slate” kind of therapist. With me, what you see is what you get. I show up to this work with genuine curiosity, kindness, and a deep respect for who you are and what you’ve been through. My goal is to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself and feel supported in figuring out what you want, what matters to you, and how to move toward it.
As cheesy as it sounds, I really do believe we grow through what we go through. Pain is part of being human. But so is resilience, love, and joy. I come to this work not just with training and tools, but with a deep knowing of what it’s like to struggle and to rebuild.
