welcome, we're glad you're here
After working in mental health for the last 10 years, I have come to realize that many spaces in the mental health world aren't as inclusive or as holistic as I had hoped. I believe that mental wellbeing is comprised of the mosaic of community support people, healthcare, and alternative wellness providers and engagement in movement and joyful nutrition. I also believe that mental health spaces have historically been inaccessible to certain groups, and that the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities have been overlooked and excluded from mental health services. Half Moon strives to create a holistic, inclusive, and actively, loudly, and proudly affirming space for those communities.
Half Moon provides individual, group and relational therapy to clients of all relational configurations (couples, families, polycules, friends, and more) using an individualized, values driven, collaborative approach. Our goal is to help our clients live a more full life, and support clients in challenging themselves to examine what is and isn’t working in order to get there. Half Moon is also a space that offers services within the mosaic that I believe contributes to mental wellness. We offer coworking space for marginalized holistic wellness providers, and offer Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, EMDR and more. We at Half Moon believe that we are guides to assist in developing greater understanding in who our clients are, not that we have the answers. We look forward to walking this path with you.
