Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a space that can be tailored to your individual needs and goals. Individual counseling can be used for skill building, increasing insight, addressing problem behaviors, or reconciling experiences from the past.

Family Therapy

Family therapy can involve the whole family and can be used to address conflict or miscommunication. It can be a helpful addition to individual therapy, especially when the family system is in some way impacted or impacting an individual who is struggling. Family therapy can help strengthen relationships between family members and deepen family connections.

Individual Supervision

Half Moon offers high quality clinical supervision to Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associates. LCMHCAs seeking individual supervision can expect to receive at least one hour weekly of 1:1 supervision where case conceptualization, risk management, clinician burnout support, and professional development will be explored. LCMHCAs will also have access to support outside of the supervision hour by text, email, or chat.

Gender Affirming Care

Having a safe space to process life's challenges is of the utmost importance. Half Moon is committed to offering stigma-free, affirming therapy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, nonbinary, gender-diverse, agender, polyamorous, asexual, queer+ individuals, couples, and families. We are also proud to offer assessments and letters of support for clients seeking gender affirming medical care.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy can be for any couple at any point in their relationship, including those newly coupled, pre-marriage, married or long-term partnered, and even folks who are going through or post-divorce. Couples counseling can be a space for addressing errors in communication, exploring values, and fostering intimacy and secure attachments.

Group Supervision

The use of group supervision in clinical development can act as a standalone or complimentary service to individual supervision. In group supervision, LCMHCAs of 3 or more can utilize peer consult as well as supervision to receive support, feedback, and suggestions around case conceptualization, assessment, and interventions.
