we believe in the power of community

Meeting with your providers, whether for therapy or other wellness services, is great, but your community can make a massive impact on your overall well being. We believe that a positive, safe, supportive and celebratory community is key to living our best lives. We offer events for our community to join, and encourage you to find us or join us at some of the events below.

TWLOHA Move For It 5K Flyer

Move For It 5K Meetup

On Saturday, May 2, Half Moon Mental Health & Wellness is hosting a Raleigh community meetup for the Move For It 5K. We’ll be fundraising to help To Write Love on Her Arms meet critical mental health needs.

Your support directly removes barriers to therapy, expands peer support connections, and sustains national outreach to people in crisis.

We’ll gather at our office in Historic Oakwood at 12pm before heading out to move together in honor of those we’ve lost, for the world we want to see, and for the stories still being written.

Every gift, every story, and every conversation inspired by this movement helps people know they are not alone. Thank you for supporting real help today.

Blood on Her Tongue by Johanna van Veen

"The Netherlands, 1887. Lucy's twin sister Sarah is unwell. She refuses to eat, mumbles nonsensically, and is increasingly obsessed with a centuries-old corpse recently discovered on her husband's grand estate. The doctor has diagnosed her with temporary insanity caused by a fever of the brain. To protect her twin from a terrible fate in a lunatic asylum, Lucy must unravel the mystery surrounding her sister's condition, but it's clear her twin is hiding something. Then again, Lucy is harboring secrets of her own, too."
