we believe in the power of community
Meeting with your providers, whether for therapy or other wellness services, is great, but your community can make a massive impact on your overall well being. We believe that a positive, safe, supportive and celebratory community is key to living our best lives. We offer events for our community to join, and encourage you to find us or join us at some of the events below.
Join Half Moon Mental Health and Wellness in Celebrating Pride Month🌈

At Half Moon, we’re actively, loudly, and proudly affirming of the queer community every day—but Pride Month is a special chance to celebrate all the beauty, resilience, and joy that lives here.💖
Check out our Pride Events page for all the details, mark your calendars and bring your friends. Let’s make this month full of connection, care, and unapologetic queer joy.

Inspired by the types of books that Marley and Brianna enjoy, Light and Dark book club will alternate between sinister and twisty one month and sweet and romantic the next.
Join us on the third Thursday of every month at 5:45pm at Blackbird Books and Coffee in Downtown Raleigh for a free book club focused on queer horror and romance.
May's Dark Book

Blood on Her Tongue by Johanna van Veen
"The Netherlands, 1887. Lucy's twin sister Sarah is unwell. She refuses to eat, mumbles nonsensically, and is increasingly obsessed with a centuries-old corpse recently discovered on her husband's grand estate. The doctor has diagnosed her with temporary insanity caused by a fever of the brain. To protect her twin from a terrible fate in a lunatic asylum, Lucy must unravel the mystery surrounding her sister's condition, but it's clear her twin is hiding something. Then again, Lucy is harboring secrets of her own, too."
