We are seeking a driven office oracle (AKA: an administrative assistant, but we hate that title). The position is hybrid 15-20 hours, with one working day per week in the office.

What we're looking for:

You are pursuing a bachelors degree or have a bachelors degree in a helping discipline (psychology, social work, human services, etc)

You are passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and are either a strong ally of this community, or a part of the community yourself

You are experienced in social media content creation, and excited by the idea of running our social media account
-
You are a clear and effective communicator via email and chat as well as in person
-
You are able to work on your own but also value working on a team of fun, motivated, passionate people

You have some experience within a customer service role, and are able to be professional kind, and courteous both in email as well as by phone
-
You are organized and able to prioritize tasks and shift gears if need be
-
You are self-directed, self-motivated, and willing to take action. We work really well with folks who are go-getters.
What your job would be:
-
Responding to all new client inquiries made by phone, email, or completed contact forms
-
Updating and maintaining the client waitlist, including distributing clients to clinicians and following up with clients on a monthly basis to ensure that clients are getting connected to providers

Updating and maintaining the Half Moon website, including all back end website editing, managing events pages, and adding new and/or relevant information

Writing and adding to the website blog posts that are relevant to our clients

Collaborating on and sending out the monthly newsletter

Creating new and exciting content for and managing the Half Moon social media account
-
Managing networking requests for senior staff and handling scheduling and coordination
-
Assisting with leading community events including Pride events as well as regular monthly events
-
Directing client requests including cancellations or rescheduling appointments, questions about insurance, or inquiries about events

Assisting with upkeep of the office including taking trash out, restocking paper goods and snacks, and informing owner of supplies needed
The nitty-gritty details:

This is part time, W-2 position, 15-20 hours per week, with one half day in the office (preferably on Fridays)

Hourly pay is $15-$18 per hour depending on experience

Flexible days/hours — generally with at least two hours per day Monday-Friday to overlap with senior staff
