At Half Moon, we’re actively, loudly, and proudly affirming of the queer community every day—but Pride Month is a special chance to celebrate all the beauty, resilience, and joy that lives here.💖

At this month’s Stitch & Bitch, come prepared to make the festival bracelets of your dreams to wear to Out! Raleigh Pride, any other Pride Month event, or all year long! We’ll have beads and embroidery floss available, but feel free to bring any additional supplies.

Bracelet making not your vibe? Not a problem! Folks are still encouraged to bring any craft to work on.

Get ready for an evening of gossip and crafting the night away.

LGBTQ+ Board Game Night at Side Quest Game Lounge & Bar

Calling all queer gamers, board game geeks, and tabletop newbies!

Join us for a night of laughs, strategy, and community at Side Quest Game Lounge & Bar. Whether you're into card games, cooperative adventures, or a cutthroat round of Catan, there’s a table (and a seat) for you. Bring your favorite game or dive into the massive library at Side Quest—no experience necessary, just good vibes and a willingness to play.

Ticket sales will cover Side Quest's $5 Play Pass fee, with remaining proceeds being donated to the LGBT Center of Raleigh.

Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you'll leave with new connections. Let’s get our game on!

A queer book club like no other!

Inspired by the types of books that Marley and Brianna enjoy, Light and Dark book club will alternate between sinister and twisty one month and sweet and romantic the next.

Join us on the third Thursday of every month at 5:45pm at Blackbird Books and Coffee in Downtown Raleigh for a free book club focused on queer horror and romance.

Plant Sale at Half Moon

Calling all plant parents, propagators, and people just looking to add a little more green to their space! This Pride Month, we're hosting a plant sale benefitting the LGBT Center of Raleigh.

Stop by our office on Saturday, June 20th from 12–2pm to shop, mingle, and celebrate Pride with fellow plant lovers. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just trying to keep your first pothos alive, everyone is welcome.

LGBTQ+ Therapist Meetup at
Standard Beer + Food

Are you or is someone you know a queer therapist looking for community? Join us for a get-together of queer therapists to create opportunities for connection, community, and celebration. The meetup will be June 25th at 6:00 pm at Standard Beer + Food in Raleigh. Grab a drink and mingle with other queer therapists who get it.
